Our U14A team were beaten by a strong Killenaule team on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-2 in the South Final played in Monroe on Sunday afternoon.

Played in dry and sunny conditions, the game drew a good crowd and was competitive throughout. Commercials' worked hard and started both halves with early goals bringing the score to within 2 points in the second half. But Killenaule were more consistent in front of the posts and built up a lead with a steady return of points over the course of the game.

Despite the result, Commercials showed plenty of determination and commitment throughout the game,  and can look back on a strong season overall. Reaching a South Final is a significant achievement for the group and the experience gained will benefit the players going forward.
